Thanks Graeme, will take a look

Will try the plate mod to. Going to try the 14t after the first service

Are u running it now on the spareshack header ( did u get type 1 or 2?)
with no mods to fuelling?

Is it much more louder with just the cat removed?

Im running with the straight through header now. Its Type 2 if your using stock silencers.

Quoting Stuart at Spareshack:
Type 1 is two seperate pipes which were
really designed for use with a 2-1 silencer and type 2 has
the pipes joined together with a cross over for the gas flow
which is the best option which the standard 2-2 set up

Havent done anything about fuelling. The sound is certainly a little louder and throatier, but at standstill its still the rattling clutch which attracts the attention!

How many miles you done now? I had my first service 5 days after I picked it up!

No mods to fueling yet Lee, just had it serviced and ran up on a dyno while it was there to check it and everything is fine, so it will be left untill the cats removed, intend to remove the cat, new air filter and a PC3 all at the same time so need to get some overtime in

I've just returned from local main dealership to see if I could resolve the fueling issue with straight tho pipes.

Service guy said that fueling should not be effected adversely by fitting pipes. The existing mapping can be altered by +/- 6% if the emissions proved to need adjusting. He suggested having it checked at next service for peace of mind.

I also asked about warranty issues of removing Cat (and also stock slave cylinder). Im told that these mods wouldn't effect warranty.

Meanwhile, my new 14T sprocket arrived today! Little job for tomorrow!!

I've got spareshack system on order from Market place and was going to fit power commander. Found them for sale in the USA for about half the money.
Does anyone know if there are any differences, i would have thought that as long as you put the correct map in, then all would be well?
