2010 DesmoDue Race calendar (Provisional)




There will be 2 points scoring races at each round

2010 Desmo Due Race Calendar

These are the Provisional dates that were in the final rounds official programme – these dates are just to give you some idea so don’t book your holidays yet!

Round 1 - 26th March Mallory Park
Round 2 - 24/25th April Silverstone
Round 3 - 9/10th May Anglesey or Assen start of May

Round 4 - 25/26th June Pembrey
Round 5 - 10th July Oulton Park
Round 6 - 31st July 1st August Cadwell Park
Round 7 - 11th September Castle Combe
Round 8 - 2/3rd October Cadwell Park


Possible Donington to add


Again points scoring races on Sunday non-points scoring on Saturday


Series Points

1st 25 points
2nd 20 points
3rd 16 points
4th 13 points
5th 11 points
6th 10 points
7th 9 points
8th 8 points
9th 7 points
10th 6 points
11th 5 points
12th 4 points
13th 3 points
14th 2 points
15th 1 points

In 2009 riders will drop the result from 2 races out of the series to arrive at their final championship position.

Trophies will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd finishing places in each class at each race and to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places overall within class at end of the series.

New Era Have updated their Provisional Calendar
with the first round now Penciled in for Mallory on March 21st

The calendar above with March 26th as the first meeting was obviously wrong as thats a Friday

Its a massive change to the calendar tho, and just goes to show that its not worth bothering to plan anything before xmas !

It's also a pretty miserable bunch of circuits.. the god-forsaken Mallory twice, and IMO Pembrey and Castle Combe leave a little to be desired.

Hey ho, will be picking and choosing my rounds I guess!

I quite like Mallory as a track just a little dangerous (mainly for the quicker bikes really) and the facilities are..... well there are no facilities. Going twice though...yuk!

Castle Combe and Pembrey are two of my favourites and there always seems to be a good feeling in the paddock.

Never been to the new Anglesey but everyone seems to rave about it.

But I'll miss Donington, Oulton and I quite like Brands now.
Snettertons too far for too little.

Picking and choosing will be the order of the day for me too.
