748 Ignition barell & key needed urgently

748 Ignition barell & key needed urgently, Bike is sold and goes away next week ...........

Got one now just need a fuel cap & key.......

What a day, Loose my keys Get new ignition barell now it wont start the storter is just spinning not engaging is there any cure other than a new starter. never been any probs before, Ive sold the bike & goes next weekend, dont want to sell it with any problems......

If the starter is turning but the engine is not, it sounds like the sprag clutch is at fault.....

just tried it again & it fired up first time but then went back to just spinning.

Take a look through the timing window in the lhs engine casing. You'll see the edge of the flywheel.
Thumb the starter. If the flywheel looks like it's wobbling or moving towards the wheel, then it's come loose or come off.
If the sprag clutch has gone, it probably won't be moving.
Either way it'll need the casing pulling off........
