Winter hack now on the road

As the 998 is fitted with magnesium swingarm and wheels I have no intention of running it on the roads over the winter and having sold my much used and abused 916 to Senna3 i had to sort myself out a bike for use over the winter. By bike I mean a Ducati as I already have the R6 to play around on.
But for a Ducati based winter bike I settled for this (see pic) aall I need now is to replace the Rennsports with some Diablos.

A 996bp running twin injectors with a JHP chip suited to the full 54mm Exhaust and a 748R slipper clutch is chucked in for good measure

Rear arm is actually two arms mated together to add 25mm of length with rear suspension handled by a Penske with Hi/Lo speed compression damping.

Forks have been reworked by Dave Parkinson.

Harness is off a 996S and suits the Alloy subframe where the ECU is mounted differently to the BP, the harness also allows for better lighting over the winter months as Low beam stays on when you switch on the high beam.

Harris Footrests set exactly the same as the 998 and the Harris bars are also set at the same 30 degree angle as those on the 998.

And of course for me it had to be yellow

Afraid not Paul, just that part of the seat is painted to blend into a carbon airbox and looking at the pics it would be nice to drop the back of the seat a bit futher so it sits closer to the cans.

Keefer you need to get a winter hack

could always pinch mrs keefer's CB100 recon I would look good on that in the leathers. its a bit of a animal.
any way thought about getting something but would rather put any spare cash in to the yellow beast.

enjoy the new hack. hope to see you at some winter party or something
