Mood: Missing my Flash...
In between pausing for a few fags......

1. Rinse bike thoroughly with cold water.
2. Spray whole bike (except brakes) with either Muc Off or Silkolene bike wash, whichever one I have at the time.
3. Scrub everything vigorously with a selection of muc off brushes.
4. Rinse bike thoroughly with cold water.
5. Use leather to dry everything I can get to.
6. WD40 all things that move - pegs, levers, ignition barrel and seat lock, electrics even get a quick blast.
7. Spray everything on view with FS365 Scottoiler spray.
8. Lube chain as per other thread.
9. Stand back and admire my handywork. And have a fag.

Ade.

I brought one of those polishing kits, with the different grades of mop, and grades of polishing soap. It brings all the stainless parts up to a mirror finish in no time. Can nacker up your drill thou.

Drat! I didn't know that. Still, I don't clean mine often enough for it to matter. Today I have just hosed off the muck I picked up on a little 50 mile bimble and sprayed moving parts with WD40. Gave it a bit of a shammy off but it is mainly dripping dry in the garage. Is that bad??

I was thinking actually that some kind of industrial size hairdryer would be useful for the winter.

That's spooky. I was just looking at pictures of your bike and posted on your thread :alien

What's a "shead". Is that a type or shorthand for something? I'll look into this, thanks.
