Black paint around headlights.

Whilst my headlights are out (fitting dig. dash) I thought I'd re paint the black paint around the headlights. I've touched this up before but it always seems to flake off and looks a mess.
Anyone any idea what is a good black paint to use that will stay there?

Thanks

To be honest I don't think it makes any difference as it's paint on glass - without proper chemical primers it will never stick correctly.

i just use black tape. Although not original if you use one with a strong adhesive then it works pretty well.
