1. Firstly pick yourself up off the floor...
2. Either buy new...
3. Or plea on here for any going spare...
4. Search ebay for whatever you can find. Ofetn complete heads etc are for sale on there and can provide you with what you need for less than the rockers alone.
5. ...and something I would definately do if it were my bike, contact DUK, and kick up a real fuss. If you have service records etc for the bike, send them to them, show how it has been serviced as it should be, and tht the rockers have failed due to the manufacturing process (this is known by Ducati anyway!)

I think it was Shazzam who posted a letter or statement of some kind, which clearly stated that they (Ducati) actually accepted that the problem was unfortuante and that they were almost bound to at the very least supply replacement rockers FOC.

I guess most people just stump up for it as it is usually just 1 or 2 that need doing, but if I had 8 go...I for one would not be paying the entire bill myself and would be on DUK case big time.

I'll have a sarch through the archives to see if I can find it again.

Don't forget that shazzams letter is based on American consumer law. Ducati Uk's stance appears to be that if the bike has been correctly dealer serviced from new then if its in warranty they will pick up the full bill. If its out of warranty they will only pay for the parts. But in both cases they will only be interested if its been dealer serviced from new.
