Been a long time! Just bought a 1198!
Hi all,
Been a long time! (Sold my 999r just over 2 years back after 6 great years)
Regretted it before the bike had even left my house
Have been terrorising the locals on a crf450 supermoto ever since!

Anyway, I just went and bought a bog stock 2010 1198 (2100m) off eBay this morning!

Need to get up to speed with everything 1198 related!
Where are the good places these days for Ducati parts! Termi's/DP performance and general carbon bits etc?!

It has been a while and good to see you back. Shop wise Moto Rapido, JHP and Ducati Glasgow are good bets for providing parts, otherwise its the internet with places in Germany and Italy, import Duty and Parcel Farce handling fee spoil what often looks like a good deal from the states

Waiting for confirmation of delivery time for a 2007 1098...6 years and 11 months after selling the 998S Bayliss!

There's been a Honda SP2 and a Triumph 675 Daytona in between, not to mention a TVR Chimaera (in it's defence it does have a V engine configuration!?!) but I felt a need for something red and Italian again...so here we go...!

Welcome back into the fold Simon!!!

I expect to see an 1198 blast past me on the back wheel with the rider stood up looking down at me like that time on your 998R

Have fun!!
