The late great Juan Manuel Fangio was once asked if he had any tips for people who wanted to emulate his dominance of racing cars.

His reply? "More throttle....less brake"

I asked James Toseland how to be as quick as those with the big bore kits - he said - (actually I better not say on a public forum)

Good tip
See if you can develop the growth of stupendously large Balls and budget for very compressive medical insurance, but winning Christ knows?

Bottled water close at hand, dehydration creeps up on you from no-where and once it's upon you, you're stuffed as it's too late. It will affect your concentration and lead to splitting headaches and to be honest, a DNF. Non fizzy is the preffered choice.

The last 2 tings I always needed were:
1) a wazz - so a wazz bottle (empty 2 litre Volvic works a treat) works for the blokes.

2) How many times did I put my helmet on in a panic, get down to the paddock area and realise I had left my ear plugs elsewhere.
Put them in your gloves at the end of a race / session and that's all it ever really took.

Best of luck over the w/end.

Tim
