Leon and Gregorio are leading the pack after the first two qualifying sessions today. Kyonari crashed but was unhurt. It's still early days but it sure seems like Kyo is feeling the pressure. The outgoing champion had a heavy crash, hit the tyre barriers and is in hospital. One wonders if he'll be on the Rizla Suzuki next year.

I see McWilliams is in 10th, is he riding for Birdy on a Fireblade as I thought they fell out after his MotoGP ride on the Roberts V5.

And interesting news about McGuinness, I suspect Honda want him on board and ready for the 2007 TT, I'm sure Honda want to do something special for the 100th anniversary, I suspect they may then step away from the TT but 2007 should certainly be one heck of a party over on the island
