I like Hopper, dunno why,I think it could be that he realises he`s being paid to race bikes and appreciates that, like Edwards does.Whether he`d be any good I don`t know,he showed tremendous promise when he was younger tho.

Sete won't move to Ducati for the money - he's minted in the first place - his family have shedloads of money and he worked his way up through GP on merit, refusing to use his own money, or his family connections, to buy himself a ride or secure headline sponsorship...

That's what I was told when he won his first GP at the last ever all 2-stroke race in Valencia in 2001 anyway...

Laconi has to be being groomed for GP stardom, he's already been there so Ducati will for sure be looking at getting him onto a bike, he's tested one also I believe, although where he would end up would be another question, D'Antin on a year old bike with little support, parts or testing.

Lanzi will get his ride I guess in WSB, that's got to be a safe bet, will Toseland still have a ride though???

Still think Hopper will be the one for Ducati Corse on the factory bike, although the rumour mill has spun again suggesting Biaggi might step in to Capirossi's shoes

Biaggi???? Seriously???? Thought he was after a Camel Honda ride, alongside Barros????

Lanzi on the factory WSB bike must be a cert, surely?

Can't see Laconi cutting it in GPs to be honest, and certainly not on the Corse bike. Hopper would be great though

It's a possibility-after all don't forget 2007 will be all new 800cc machines, so a clean slate for all manufacturers. Rossi has already stated in interview that he intends to race until 'at least the end of 2007 season' and that he could 'finish with a different manufacturer-maybe back to Honda or with someone else'.

Exactly - I would think Ducati are already talking to him. What better way for an Italian to hang up his sliders.
