About £25 for the chip, then does it have to be dynoed. or does it just plug in and go.
What do you ask for when buying a chip.

Here's a link to a guy who has fitted dyno et kits to mates bikes he also supplies and fits PC's(last time i was there he had a 748r race bike in that he was tuning ).Price is quite reasonable and i presume that it will be mapped to your own bike.One of the advantages of the PC is that if you change bike you can take the PC with you.Sigma charge £125+vat +dyno time for a FIM chip to be mapped for your bike so probably not much in it price wise.http://www.motrac-racing.com/dynojet...powercommander

I phoned jhp and they needed the make of exhaust type ie:50/45 the bike model and year then i presume they burn the chip with a map in a similar way to PC but the PC can be tweeked on a dyno a chip can't

On the silver box there's a large sticker, then next to it appears to be as if a sticker has been removed, which has left an impression, which says VOID VOID VOID. What does this mean??

When the bike first leaves the factory there is a large silver sticker covering the rubber bung. Drools on about DIY chip change invalidates your warranty etc hence the "void" thing. Don't worry about it, get in there and get that chip changed.
Your local dealer will probably be only too happy to supply you with a replacement sticker if it really bothers you.

It means that at some stage someone has had the ECU open for whatever reason.

You can get new stickers for about £7.00 i think if it worries you.
