Certainly should be, my 998 was OK last year on 50mm Termis and the 748 was OK on 45mm Sil-Motos

I wonder if my 998R will be OK on 54mm Termis

Looks like I may need some db killers, company said they wold supply and fit for £50, would take 3db of level.

What RPM did you have it checked at?

If the db killers are easy enough to fit/refit I'd just bring them as "insurance" no point bunging yer drainpipes up unless you really have to

They checked it at 5000rpm.

Still trying to workout whether to take/fit the db killers or fit the standard system back on need to get it mot'd in a couple of weeks anyway.

Confused

it should be fine with db killers.... then all you have to do is find a friendly MOT station

MSV noise test is listed as

The noise limit for bikes is 105dB(A), measured statically at 0.5 metres and 45deg angle, at ¾ maximum rpm.

So a bit more revs than they rev'd the DD bikes to at Snetterton last weekend

It was tested as stated. Decided to put the standard pipes back on. It had bought a cat removal pipe, and when i went to do an oil change today, the full race system blocked removal of the oil filter. So thought if I had to take it off for oil change i might as well change the whole thing over

Sounds so quiet now.

Might see if i can get the race end cans altered so they will fit on the standard link pipe?
