2010 dates ??

I am already starting the planning process for next year. I am watching the threads on rules with interest. I am also very interested in the dates. Any idea when the dates are likely to be published?

Thanks.
Mark

I would expect that dates will go firm mid Feb 2010. You should be ready to race by 1st of March, we definately wont be racing before then!

The problem is that the calendar is dictated to the club by New Era, as they put together their calendar and have the DD rounds at certain ones of these.

New Era won't know their (full) calendar until later this year - they are low down the pecking order when it comes to dishing out race dates. The big boys like BSB will get their dates first, then there's a scrum between the national clubs for dates and the trackday organisers get the leftovers!

As Chris says, be ready to race from March and you won't go wrong. Other than that it's difficult to say for certain as dates/venues do change too.

provisional dates are already up for thundersport and also bemsee for the last 10 days or so
only likely to get moved if wsb or motogp change their provisional ones.

rule changes for 2010 in thundersport wil be up by the end of october just like last year.

we only had one date change this year and that was done in late feb for the last meeting in october so stil had plenty of notice.

Still nothing on the New Era site, so they obviously need to pull their finger out!

Very very very Provisional Dates for New Era race meetings was included in the Program for this weekends race meeting,

Mine is still in the van but either I or someone else will post them up later
But I wouldn't go booking my holidays around those dates just yet
Currently new Era are looking at one meeting per month from March through to October.
I recall the April meeting is provisionaly Silverstone and recall there was no Snetterton and although there was no Donington round they did say this could possibly happen

Kev,

I am seeing Jim Parker on the 20th of this month (on another matter) and will see what he has to say.
