Do we have to have Hottrax membership?

Do we have to be paid up members of Hottrax to race with them?

My understanding is that we need ACU/DSC/NewEra memberships, but not Hottrax... Can someone confirm that?

To race in DD, apart from the ACU licence fee, we need:
DSD membership: £25
DD registration: £20
New Era membership: £25
Total: £70

To race in Minitwins, apart from the ACU licence fee, we need:
Hottrax membership: £30

To race in Minitwins, ideally you need 72bhp, best options are the SV650 and the ER6, a very well put together 800 Ducati rarely gets a look in these days unless they bend the rules. Wets, Tyre Warmers and some nice Super Corsas or something similar
All Minitwin rounds are the 3 race format at £235 and you don't get to do the Oulton Race Day

Still at least I already have 3 NGRRC Minitwin trophies

Mike it is which is why I asked for it at Angelsey and Cadwell, it wasn't a option at Oulton. and with Brands keeping to one day helps keep costs down and stops everyone getting dizzy.
Although with the two day two race events it may be worth entering an extra class such as Minitwins, may even consider dragging my 750 Minitwin along to Pembrey, it hasn't been out for a few years since it was last raced at Pembrey but by todays Minitwin standards 1m 07s laps around Pembrey just isn't fast enough

Seem to be having that problem for the last few years Phil
When we went to Pembrey in 2009, I went with the goal of getting the Class A DD bike in to the 1m 10s on the Diablos following a terrible time there in 2008.
First session out on the Friday where I had booked the afternoon session of the test day and I was doing 1m 10s right off the bat, so I haven't completely dropped off the pace as sticky MiniTwin tyres and the extra grunt of the 750 would have helped improve that time. But it was easier in 2005 and 2006 after racing in SoT, F600, Streetstock 1300, Powerbike and Open in the preceeding years, made the smaller Ducatis feel slow and tame so I was happy to push them harder.

Was always a hard job trying to beat Matt on my TL1000S but beating the loon was possible even if he did feature in the results twice ???
