Weeksy sponsors a fellow rider

Breaking news is that our very own Weeksy has adopted a fellow rider via the adopt a racer site. Well done Steve!

You always get that Steve. It means a lot to them.

At Brands sunday, the head lady Kailah was really chuffed that some people who less than a year ago had put the scheme down as a jobs for the oldies society have changed their mind and seen what good it has done. e.g.

My 125 rider Bemsee 125GP champion - Also going to R6 cup!
Jay 3rd in SS400 MRO
James Hurrell champ of Clubman 1000.

I know the riders appreciate the interest and support rather than the sum of money as it shows belief in them. Having said that the scheme has raised £29k in less than a year also.

Aww weeksy, you big softy!
He didn't win the 600's cos Steve Hix did, he must have won the novice cup.
Tell you what, if you're good I will let you sponsor me!

Quick update, my GP125 rider who won the nationwide series at 17 in this his first year, has been accepted into the R6 cup for next year!!

He's just gotta find £18k + VAT now....

....although first prize of your money back and a 2006 superbike contract are pretty good carrots....

Should be a good season (hopefully). One of my other riders is probably doing British Superstock too! Don't know what Jay is doing yet though.
