As I understood it, first time round for this recall you took your bike in for the oil cooler check/change.
Some time later (weeks/months?) the dealer received the stickers to stick on the bikes after the cooler has been checked/changed.
So upshot is........
Best bring it in again just to make sure you have the sticker?

I got the recall on my first 999 but this was after it had already spilt it's oil - luckily all over my drive whilst warming up.

OK, so a lot of you are pee'd off that you gotta take your bike back in for checking. It's annoying but look at the alternative - you could just keep riding it with your fingers crossed and hope you don't get an oil slick directed straight onto your back tyre.

Wow, just received another letter for this one - not sure, I think it's my third one.
Ho, hum, haven't seen the dealer for an age, be good to catch up.

I'm guessing that some dealers/owners never bothered to fill out the form the first time.I remember taking my bike up to Italia for the check.Took about 30secs as you could clearly read "TOYO" through the vent in the fairing vee peice."Anything to sign?" "Nope." That was that.

So Italia probably didnt do a warranty claim then, thats why yours shows as outstanding
