after catching the track day bug, i have been enjoying lightening my bike and seeing how different it is to ride. biggest change was ditching the std exhaust which made turning so much quicker/easier!

my next steps, after a race fairing and 2-1 pipe, will start with adding a 2006 gsxr 600/750 front end (with a very light front wheel).



after that i want to lighten the frame by cutting the back off. i am using an SL seat and have strengthened the base with some carbon, so thinking that i don't need to use the frame to hold the back of the seat or tail lights on. you can see where the seat sits just in front of the tape.

so how much can i cut off.... can i cut it at the electric tape without any issues?
