The plate on the bottom yoke??

I have taken mine off my S4r recently as it was in the way of the mesh I had put on my radiator.

What does it do? seen it called a splash/smoke gaurd. doesn't seem to protect much from what i can see and looks better with out it.

Also its made of steel quite heavy to, and carbon world has a carbon one to

Its just to stop water splashing up..mines plastic and looks OK..but then the bikes black..!

HHmmmm thanks Natt wonder why mines steel? its very heavy.

Did u ride up for Donny GP? I weighed up the risks and chickened out in the end esp. when I saw it get worse up there

I stand corrected buddy...took mine off tonight to fit the rad strips..mines metal too..just looked plastic as its anodised satin black..
