Careful, the 996RS airbox will only work with a Foggy Rep Frame with the lower cross member or a 748R / 998 late frame with a 996 engine.

You will also have issues with needing the seat undertray breather instead of the standard one, as well as fuel supply & Return line fittings as per Corse specs (as those are in the airbox on 996RS and won't fit a with a standard tank).

You will also need the bigger airtubes.... and those in turn require the nose cone with the bigger air intakes.

So all together it is not as simple as it seems.

You are better just getting an EVR airbox which will offer the bigger volume without the complication.

it should fit if it's a proper 996sps frame.

There's heaps of different rs airbox versions around. So you might want to buy a full setup along with the tubes.

As for more midrange, don't you think the 600-1000 euros for this mod are better spent on headwork or light wheels?

On a sidenote: if you really want a large airbox, get a 748r unit. Maybe minus the shower injection. It's large, it's plug and play, and it's affordable.
