Wheel idenitification

I bought a set of wheels for my 748 and are going to get them powdercoated.

But looking at them, the hubs are not like any i have seen before. Anyone know what these are from originally?

The rear one is the same as the one I sold Sarah Jordan a year or so ago for her race bike, but couldn't tell you where it originated from

Its not the same wheel is it?

Someone mentioned to me that it might have been machined like that in a garage but it looks to be original to me.

It does seem to be especially light whatever its origins.
