Mood: R U thinking what I'm thinking?......Oh dear!
Ohlins rear shock on the way out?
Noticed fluid on the piston on the rear ohlins, OEM spec on a 998. I know the piston is likely to be damp but it seems to have a bit more fluid on than usual. I have also noticed a very slight weave on the bike in straight line from time to time. The head bearings seem OK. Is the rear shock on its way out with a leaky seal? Can they be rebuilt or is it pay up for a new one??

The bike isn't doing a pogo stick impression yet and there still appears to be plenty of damping.
