racetec wet/rain

basically are these any good?

I think Bungi might be talking about the Racetec rain tyres, which are very good.

They are quite a bit better than the old block type tread and there wasn't much wrong with them either. These tend to last just slightly longer especially on a drying track. Definitely recommended, but then so are the Michelin and Dunlop wets. What have you used up to now or is this the first rain tyres you're tyring?

Riding on full wets in the rain is a complete head thing. It's difficult to simply ride them like it's dry, but they do work that good.

been using the dunlop block type wets (ok Rain) tyres, seem to have been ok, but ive never had anything to compare them with. just thinking of these as ive seen some at reasonable price

Do it, Bungi, they are definitely better than the block types, especially if you get some at a reasonable price. If you don't, let me know, and I will take them.
