Brands y\'day, how fantastic was that !!!!

Went to see Couch, Tim,Lu and Griff yesterday at Brands, weather was GREAT so decided to ride over on the bike via Steve Jordan Motorcycles.

Got there and was instantly pressured by Couch... LOL So went to ask if there were any spaces...

Got offered the morning session that was left and the whole afternoon for £60. Obviously i jumped at the chance.

Bike was totally spot on, wish that could be said about the rider... was only my 3rd time on the bike and oth of them were crappy conditions, but evventually by the last session i was getting it together (only session the DD boys never overtook me).

Tried a few changes to both the front end of the bike and the back end, but irritating as always, i nevereven noticed. LOL

I'm stiff on the old shoulders and top of back today... ouch.

All riders ended the day happy and safe ffrom the DD.

Yep, a very good day, despite the organisers doing their best to get my back up

The sun shone and all seemed well with the world (ish)

Shame about the organisation, seems there were a lot of fast boys in the Novice group and the organisers had to move them around, which caused some grief. They were in the wrong place to start with - not sure of the reasons for this, the ones I spoke to said they thought they'd booked into Fast?

Other than that, great to meet up with some DD guys and gal, Weeksy's always on top form, great to meet up with the dopey sod again .

Everyone played nicely and brought it home safely, I think that Max (ypreist?) had a Paddock moment, but all seemed in good spirit.

Roll on the next one

Tim

I personally didn't find a single issue with it... they were helpful, and the groups by the time i got there was pretty much sorted. 1 or two slow peeps in Inters, and the Instructors and a couple of fast guys too...

sessions all went well and the day ran smoothly...

i don't see the problem with them at all.

I thought they were pretty bad, but don't like to use them very much anyway! I like the No Limits days, that's how it should be done.

Griff booked Inters, got there and was told he had to go in Novice despite him ticking he had race experience on his form. People in the wrong groups generally and of course what they did to me, moving me down a group for the instructor to say I should have been where I started out, but the organiser knowing better. Because I don't hang off like an idiot trying to scrape my sliders doesn't mean I'm going really slowly. Being put in a group where you can lap pretty much everyone within 20 minutes is ridiculous IMO. They also messed up a bit with payments, taking two amounts from my bank account. I've never liked using them, find them disorganised and there's always something on one of their days. Only saving grace was the instructor who was a star and helped me a lot.
