DD Breaking News - Castle Combe

' 583cc contender Chris Wood, is suffering with a kidney infection and will not be 100% fit for this weekends racing. When interviewed today Chris had the follwoing to say'

" I hurt a lot " (edited for the kids) insert your favourite expletive.

Very sorry to hear that dude. If it's any consolation I've been in and out of hospital since getting back from Assen, didn't think I could ride at all until the TD yesterday. It was much better than I thought, so give it a go. It's only a 10 min race after all....

Sorry to hear that Chris. Hope you can get over it by Sunday. Painful condition, I know. Soda water is supposed to be good to help it clear up. Loads of water anyway and stay away from red wine. Lager's ok, apparently. The third tip I was given is only applicable to women ;-)
