Felix sorry I did'nt mean it literaly. It will all depend on the rider. Having heard of Chillo's exploits they might only last him a couple of laps. No seriously I have an 12 tooth STM which ate its basket after 3000 miles. 2600 of those were mway riding to Misano last year. Because you have the wider tounged plates this will help enormously. The only down side is you have less of them and I have always wondered if they would slip. Obviousley slipper's are predominately made for track use and one would think nothing of buying a new set of tyre's, so replacing the basket wouldn't be that big a deal.
But what I am saying is that if you went for the 48 tooth the basket would have a much longer life. Also you should remember that the clutch plates because they are slipping more freqentley have a much shorter life span. I would shuggest Chillo that you invest in a set of the harder sintered plates.
