Fuel Consumption

Just wondering ... what are people getting on a full tank?

I average 120 miles on my 748S with Termis. Is that normal?

I get about the same, but much less if I'm gunning it!

Like about 80-90miles to a tank round snetterton

We're talking about when the reserve light stays on right, not when the bike trickles to a halt at the side of the road?

I get about 80 miles until the light comes on, this is on a 996. I used to get more but it dropped a lot after re-gearing to 14/38.

There's quite a lengthy post about this on the old forum.

First tank after I bought my 748BP, I got 170 miles before the light came on. Now I get between 130-140 before the light comes on. Last month in France, I was only getting 120 before the light came on (might have been giving it a little more right hand)

85 to the constant light

Always get the same but always give it large on the throttle though.
Its what they are made for you know.

Got 110 miles to the light on the way back from Ireland but I had a hangover and was scared of all the fed speed traps in scotland so no right wrist wriggle for me.

Never get much more than 85 miles to 12 litres of fuel so that is approx 26/27 mpg me thinks in a drunken stupour.

Not the main reason I bought a Duke for though, thats the smile factor.

On track its more like 20 mpg or a little more.

Geoff, I didn't think I hung around on the road, but I always get around 50 mpg. Perhaps you've got too many trick bits on yours weighing it down - LOL

Beer belly + Trick bits?

Thought trick bits were to lose weight not put it on?

You need to give it a bit more mate, or do I need to give it a bit less occifer?

Motion Potion!

Have no idea how much the 998s drinks but my Jota does less than 20 mpg when given the berries.
