I am in garage 5.

Will also be there for the test day on Friday.

Number 48, probably looking lost, bewildered and mostly likely scared.

Where do people park up?

I suppose I will be sleeping in my van (if the one I am hiring is clean enough!). Can I park outside the garage?

Get there early and park outside your garage. Make sure you take an extension lead and a fan heater. trust me.

You should be able to park in rows 3 deep out side the garage, usually get at least 6 vehicles behind each garage and its usually no more than 6 bikes per garage, caravans can muck the figures up a bit.
Access on race day is from the rear of the garage to get to the collecting area and when returning from Parc Ferme so space should be left between the rows to allow access

if you intend running a mains cable from the garage to your van, caravan, camper etc then you will need a anti trip cover for it

Us Southerners are made from tough stuff. You saw, no coat and it was snowing at Oulton!

(I'll be bringing many blankets and sleeping bags)

I remember 3 years ago sleeping in the van at Brands. Now it was 5 degrees but the van acts like a fekin big metal coolbox. We where fully clothed, hats and 2 duvets. Oh how I wished we had brought a heater especially as there was lecy provided. Never made that mistake again.

£10 heater form Argos
£10 portable gas stove
£5 spare gas canisters

Best £25 you will spend.
