Rear seat cowl

I still need a seat cowl to replace the bip seat on my 748s

Does anyone know of anywhere that has a mint one in red or who sells them new as they are no longer made apparently?

Forgive me if I'm way off the mark (& coming from a Jap superbike background) but isn't it cheaper to buy (& quicker to swap over) a single seat unit than a cowl (lights & latch included in timings)?

- look neater too.

If I've got it wrong then I have 2 bip seat units in my cellar & have had both a colour impreg. Ducati race single seater (from my stolen 996) & now an MV unit to swap over, each colour matched and cost a lot less than £150.

Norty - no the single seat conversion is expensive and a faff

Frazelli - I have seen the casoli one but tbh prefer the ducati performance one - its just i have been told it is no longer made

I will ring round the ducati dealers and see what this brings

Try mike at RipSnorting Vtwin...he used to be (maybe still is?) a member of this club and posted on here.

Don't ask me what his web address is...I can't remember!

U2U Dibble, he's had a bit of stuff from him and highly recommends him...he'll have his contact details for you. His prices are usually excellent and he'll probably do one in glass fibre for you...so it will be a lot cheaper than £150!

How so?

My single seat was £95 and the quality superb - just had to drill it for the seat pad mount bolts (2 minute job) then swap the hinge lights/catch over (another 2 minutes).
