I have recently moved away from Carole Nash due to thier breakdown policy.
On the latest trip to France my 900 was only worth £1500. If the cost of the recovery is more than the cost of the bike they wont recover the bike. Now thats fair enough if they then compensate you for the bike, but according to them they dont. You basicly loose your bike.
I found this unexceptable as they could not come up with a table of standard recovery costs. Basicly you are at the mercy of the recovery company. This applies not only to Europe but the UK.
So dont break down to far away from home !!!!!
K
ps I am now with NCI with fully comp breakdown and recovery anywhere.

Try asking Steve Blake at Access Underwriting (0845 2571355) for a quote - they insured my 996S for under £200.00 including all the mods., and we discussed adding my Jota to the policy for only another £50.00 - I didn't include it as it's off the road at the moment though.
Some time ago I got a quote from Carole Nash, but they weren't interested when I mentioned Termi's!
Cheers, Pete
