A statement from the MT regarding these matters is included in Pronto which is being posted today.

Obviously we don't know the whole story here but it would have to be something really bad to oust these two stalwarts of the club. Suppose they'll now be blamed for everything that has been wrong with this club for the last year or so.

i think that would be wrong....

i still believe the meeting needs to go ahead and discuss issues etc from DD this year. As lets be honest, (even though what they did was wrong IMO) they did it because of problems within the series and these still need to be looked at and resolved for the coming season.

I can only see this decision making the series stronger.

It'll be interesting to see the official statement. Are these the only two gone after the Cadwell meet?

PLEASE drop this dickie.
Its just another thread spiralling downhill, and will get pulled, as what you think happens is only your opinion, not what actually happens.

In all 'disputed circumstances' there are THREE sides (at least)
- what one side experienced
- what the other side experienced
- what ACTUALLY happened (which most people forget cos they take sides too quickly)
- and often what OTHER people experienced is different again

So what do we do then? Just bury our heads in the sand?

Just want to say that I agree 100% with Dickie's words and sentiments. I haven't always seen eye to eye with Butch or Mike, but they were the only people to stand up and do something positive about the elements of the series that needed working on.

It's very, very sad to see what this is doing to the club, and doesn't reflect well on anyone's ability to ensure good ideas get the attention they deserve.

This is the first time I've made any comment on a DD issue since Cadwell, but there's a limit to how long you can bite your tongue.

Barring a miracle on the 18th I'll be pulling out of the series.
