1000DS race shift??
I want to change mine so it matching my race bike, but its not a simple as others I've had. Anyone done it and klnow what levers I need to get to do it?

Alternatively, anyone know of any higher rear sets, may mean I can get ground clearance back (boots down all the time) and fit a shift direct to the gear shaft

Woodcraft do some pretty funky rearsets that are both race and std shift.

I could make the part but you will have to get someone to weld it on for you.
Also there is no thickness measurment on the drawing but I would guess at around 5mm

Neil, I think you cut the top off the lever and weld to the bottom, thats what it looks like anyway. There was another solution of plates which are fitted above the peg, so you use two rods for gear change, I'll see if I can post a pic later

Just looekd at the woodcfart site $700 for a pair is a little more than I'd planned...more like £50 for a new peg!!
