fairings

if i fit 998 fairings to my 996 do i need a different v piece or will my standard one fit okay

The difference between a 998 and a 996, (excuding the R) is the testastretta engine, which is smaller therefore the v piece doesnt need the cut out for the cylinder head. So you wouldnt need to change the v piece.
