Help please from someone with superior knowledge....

Anyone know what size paddock stand bobbins I need to screw into the swinger on my 93 Strada? Apparrently there's 6, 8 and 10mm ones available and i'm not near my bike till the weekend to see what size they are. Ta.

Fred

The 888 has bobbins on its swing-arm already. Why you want to fit more..?

But, if like me you need to extend them.....

The two options are:

M8 will fit in the existing hole and you can drill the swinger and pop a nylock into the arm.

or

M10, which in my opinion is wayyyyy hooooge, can be tapped into a 8.5 mm hole. E.g. existing hole is slightly smaller.

Answers from a pedant and a professor....

Rob, it looks like in your avatar pic you use Harris stands like me. WVT, the cups foul the wheel nuts with the Harris stands, so need to have bobbins further out.

Wheres my drill...

I use harris stands - to overcome the problem I just reversed the cups (switched sides), no problem at all.
