I'll second , third and forth the Alamx stuff.

I've done some testing for them using Fire Bridgade tools and mates engineering shop.

Almax stuff is the best, and they have very quickly cut what i thought was previously the best, i.e. Abus Granite chains and Krptonite chains.

I've also been amazed at how quickly all the main competitors chains have been chopped, very very frightening.

very interesting to see the video of them getting through my chain in 23 seconds:

Did the fire brigades tools get through the almax ones??? If they are realy that good then it make perfect sense to me.

The Fire Brigades "Jaws of Life" croppers failed, both hand and hydraulic croppers.

Of course there are ways and means of cutting anything, obviously not best discussed on a public forum, but suffice to say thieves prefer something relatively quick and definately quiet.

If you can crop a chain in anything from say 10 to 60 seconds and the only noise is the 'ping' when the chain breaks, you've just nicked yourself a bike without much hassle.
