I'm sure there used to be a seller on ebay that did mirrors as I bought one for my 748. Might be worth a look, or maybe a cheap second-hand (scuffed!) mirror and liberate the glass may be an option?

Hi, thx for your reply, you don't by any chance know he eBay seller? I searched but no joy. I also bought a scuffed mirror with a good glass but the fixing it spring loaded and can only be secured with the mirror off or before the glass is stuck into place!!!

Thumbs up

Aha! Found something for you:

http://www.duc-store.de/epages/15495...on=ViewProduct

"the original mirror glass is glued. By heating the glass can be removed carefully."

I'd use a hairdryer or a hot air gun on a low setting to try that!
