touring screen / bar rissers

Hi every one i have just brought a st4 after having to amit i am old an the 916 may be is not be the right bike to go touring on to the WDW and i love it but i was thinking of changing the screen for a touring one of some kind ,any coments good or bad would be great also i seen bar risers on a site in the usa just ones which lift the standard bars up and back .There are 12mm ones and 25mm ones ,but i read some coments that with the 25mm ones when you turn all the cables go tight your advise would be super to pod.

Hello Pod!

Ive been to WDW twice on my ST4s now and the bike was always much better than I was!

Ive still not found a screen I'm 100% happy with - I have the Ducati touring upper fairing and screen now & I only rate it as average.

Standard screen with a Laminar Lip http://www.laminarlip.com/ is the most comfy Ive tried but a hi-rise screen can work well, I like http://www.zerogravity-racing.com/

Here are some bar risers from a great guy in Ireland:

So you can fit 50mm clip ons.

or you can fit riser plates under your existing clipons.

Ive raised my bars a CRAZY amount, careful cable routing and longer brake hoses are needed the only problem at the 75mm extra height I have is that the choke cable cannot work - a longer cable might work but, Ive not sussed that out yet...
