I understand the same thing was happening to Butch and MW the day before the MT .....

I'm with NTLworld and often have to reboot the cable modem as it locks up every other month or so however, they also have a status page to let users know to expect something might be happening:

Your own provider might provide something similar.

I seem to have experienced more problems since I down loaded ie7 than I did before and mostly with other websites

I was able to connect intermitently but it would then play silly buggers with me and the headings would move around and it would time out etc.
