Well pleased for you Jasp.

That looks like a decent spread of power you have yourself there, so whens it going on track to use it?

Is the Cadwell day the first time out for it or have you more planned mate?

When you fancy a ride out gis a shout mate, will be good to meet up again

Jasp, not sure if this is appropriate in your case, but I've put two springs on the fork seal on another bike that used to be prone to leaking and it extended the life by quite a bit. You simply take the springs out of the old seals and add them to new ones. You best check with someone more knowledgeable first, though.

Oh, and no worries about not having a rear brake caliper on your bike. I never use the rear brake anyway.

Felix,as they are stripped already,i'll put new ones in anyway. If you don't use the back brake, you might as well get rid of that "old" caliper!!

Damn - thats a scupper marra - things were looking so good from reading the dyno chart.

Theres an ace website in my links for rebuilding the showa forks - but I get the impression your well practised at it now.

I've also heard good reports from Dynobike and might well be looking for a sesh once my spaghetti headers go on.

Will we get to see / hear 'The Beast' on a TD this year ???

Cheers - Frank

Jasp, didn't mean to suggest reusing the old seals, but double the spring on the new ones.

Nice one Jasper.

Thinking about a power commander for the 998, the fueling is still a bit on the lean side, maybe go for the quickshifter option as well, hoping to make the bike run on autopilot eventually so all I have to do is hang on!!

OYs bike might be giving good power but the Power to WEIGHT ratio is gonna be worse than a restricted Fizzy with him on board:P

Ray.

Ray,
your right there,i've heard he's using solid bar for forks,'cos there isn't a spring stong enough to cope with the weight!!

Frank,I'll be doing Cadwell Dsc with the bike.

Jasp, last time I saw you your leathers were getting a touch on the tight side, must have restricted your breathing or something to make you go that slow :P
