SS Alternator Rotor
Can someone tell me if there is a spacer that goes between the rotor and flywheel on an SS? Looking at trying to run a smaller alternator on the SP5 and the SS one is smaller and looks like it will fit the bill.

If the answer is yes, does anybody have the dimensions and/or pic? Or even a spare spacer(if there is one).

Cheers,
Jasper

I have just replaced one on a 583 SS and can confirm there isn't a spacer.

I think the spacing difference is taken up in the flywheel. Here are the two to compare:

Hi chaps, I've found a rotor that measures 76mm diameter, 46mm deep with 19mm hole. Is this from a 2V or 4V motor?

Cheers, Paul
