For 998 users

Hi peeps, looking for any tips/advise with ownership of a 998 Bip. Except for Termis and hugger bikes standard an MY02 on a '04 plate and 2200 mls on the clock.

Thanks for input,

What he said and, if it has a 190 rear tyre, change it to a 180 when you replace it.

Oh, and welcome...if the virtual bar's open , I'll have a Michelob...cheers!

Welcome Enigma,

Get some P34 4 pad calipers.

You some them coming up quite cheap - less than £200 (you need lines too).

The braking improvement is huge.

They're a great bunch on this forum - loads of help and info available.

Actually like a lot of people on here I don`t think I`d sell my 998 come rain or shine, I get as much pleasure just tinkering with it as riding it.

I think you`l find the same, what one have you got?

By the way there`s a nice lady called Lizzie who takes money from people so that they can become paid up members and get the club newsletter etc etc etc, I would stronly recommend that you give her 20 beer vouchers as soon as possible, its well worth it as there`s a lot of good people on here who can offer advice and technical assistance.

Just got some nice Ohlins forks (see the thread "More Bling for my Bike http://www.ducatisportingclub.com/xm....php?tid=26034 )

These may well replace the production Ohlins already in my 998 Hybrid, as if it hasn't got enough done to it already.
