Supercorsa SC1s

Anyone used these on the rear of a Duke?

I've been using a SC2 rear and getting on pretty well with it, (along with a SC1 front), but now need a replacement - I've been offered a good price on a SC1 rear, but how long do these last?

What's the difference in life (track) expectancy of a SC1 over an SC2?

Thanks

Wouldnt bother with SC1s unless your trying to get pole position in qualifying!!!
Most of us will never be goin fast enough to use all that grip, best choice would be SC3 (hard) rear and SC2 front

SC1s will last you a day if your lucky

I\'m not sure I agree....

...I just couldn't get a SC3 to warm up enough last time...it just didn't give enough grip!! These things are as hard as nails and designed to last longer than the bike!!!!

It is a good price for the SC1 rear, so maybe it'll last just for Mallory!!!

I've not tried a SC2 front though - are these OK?

Also, what sort of price should I be paying for a pair of SCs?

Tim, Supercorsa's and Rennsports are the exact same tyre and compounds. Just a different name and tread pattern.

I use the Rennsport RS2's front and rear and not had any problems at all. I've never tried the RS'1 or 3 so can't give any comparison. AFAIK they don't make the 3's any more do they?

just had sc2's back and front, they give plenty of grip, would'nt go for the hard rear, takes a bit to get it warm. sc1, very soft and sticky.
just paid £199 for my sc2's.

I get my trackday tyres after they have been used by 600 supersport guys for a race, i usually opt for the rensports or supercorsas, which always seem to come as a pair of RS1 & RS2 or SC1 & SC2 respectivly, Ive always found them to work well together and cant help thinking if the work on the supersports they should be ok for me, ok the dukes are harder on the rear out of corners but apart from wearing the rear out in one trackday they grip nicely and offer good feedback. Not an exact answer to your question but it may help.

Adam - where did you get yours for £199?

Bungi - can you get me some of these scrubbed in tyres? If so, how much?

Rattler, i got my sc2s in a bike shop in hertfordshire. Collin Collins. That was a discounted price, and can still get them at that price. Also phoned around, numbers from MCN and got prices around 199 - 210 delivered.
