Foggy/Rutter 888 For Sale

A little bird has told me that the 888 that Rutter won the North West 200 and Foggy made his name on is coming up for sale again. It is going through the auctions in Stafford, run by Bonhams, at the back end of April.

Get saving as when it was advertised on E-Bay a while back it did not make the reserve and someone offered over 13 grand for it.

Simon

Anorack time!
It was actually Foggy that won the '93 NW200 on the 888.Rutter ran the bike the next year in the yellow McCullock colours.I know because I was there.
Here's a pic I took of the bike in the paddock.

Here's the front row of the grid of the big race.
In pole,Foggy.
2nd Robert Dunlop on the Oxford Products 888.
3rd Kevin Mitchell on the MBM Harris YZR500 GP bike.
4th Yer Maun Joey Dunlop (RC30)
"Mad Dog" Mitchell was flying untill the rear tyre destroyed itself on the long NW straights.
