Slow delivery?

Have been waiting nearly two weeks for parts that ARE in stock in Italy for my 996. I want to get my bike back on the road asap. How long can I really expect to wait, anyone share their experiences?

If you think it is bad now just wait til Italy shuts down for the summer!

Last year I waited six weeks for the mounting bracket for the rear brake pedal.
Luckily I never use it and tie wrapped it to the frame and still rode it!

Bit of a ****er to have to wait for minor parts never mind a camshaft?
You have all my sympathy PJ

I don't think Ducati shuts down their parts service during the summer anymore. Unfortunately, that won't necessarily make deliveries any shorter.

Five weeks for two pinch bolts for a race swingarm.
Well it was the start of august when everything else arrived,i then realised that these are longer and a different pitch.
Nobody in the uk had them in stock, when i could place an order for them there was a backlog of orders.
These are the joys of modifying your bike.
