later wheels

When fitting a later rear wheel to an older monster, what do I need?

I assume discs, sprocket carrier etc are all interchangeable, so do I just need a new spindle and bearings?

Are later front wheels a straight swap?

Steve the rear wheel depends on which model it is from. if its out of a Supersport or a 2001 600 Monster it probably has the same bearing and spindle sizes and would drop straight in. Later wheels from a 620 Monster (Not Supersport) uses a bigger rear spindle
Later front wheels use the bigger 25mm spindle so use different bearings and bearing spacer as well as speedo drive (or Spacer) so aren't a straight swap
