Oulton Noise limts ?

Yo, Can any peeps that have done Oulton let me know what they are like on noise. Nolimits have told me 105DB and every bike IS checked before it is allowed on track. No money back if you dont pass, goodbye, see you laters.
So will a Duke with 50mm or Gixer 600 with race pipe get away with it. I've no way of finding out how lod it is before.

Thx

Craig

105 is pretty loud!!

On an official noise test last year my bike was 107 but it still managed to pass normal track day testing!

I very much doubt you will fail with the bikes you have said.

Don't worry they are pretty relaxed.

I done Oulton there last month with FE, and yes they test every bike as you line up to go out (made me late out for the session).

There was a guy with a DB meter (Oulton Official) and a pole that measures your bike at 1mtr? at an angle, you have to rev the bike to two-thirds. My R1 with full Leo Vinci system passed and its quite load, although my instructor did have an SPS and said he might fail if they have to test him

Make sure they test you in the open. Sometimes at Oulton they do the test in an open sided shed which will lead to resonance and a high dB result.

mine went through OK a few weeks back with Termis on.

I was asked to rev to 5k.... but only revved to 4k

my mates Mille with full Akra system went through OK too.
