go Keyless

Guys

Getting rid of the ignition barrel and replacing it with a toggle switch

so which wires do what then??

Iv'e got a:

green / black
red
yellow
grey
red/white
blue

Any ideas on what's the best way to wire it up

The cable from the ignition switch goes down to a 6-way connector usually just behind the head stock, so one side of the 6-way connector is on the end of the ignition switch (switch side), the mating connector is on the main harness (Harness side)
The other wires are for parking lights when the steering lock part of the ignition switch is fully to the left, so those wires aren't required.

If you have original clocks (with flashing amber LED) and ECU fitted then you will probably need to salvage the transponder from the key (or keep the key) and mount it in the aeriel that is mounted in the housing around the ignition switch and tuck the lot away under the tank.
Either that or get the clocks decoded. I've just spent the last few hours going through Coded Clocks and ECUs on my M620, playing match up.
As my race bike and the M620 are about to be fitted with Decoded ECUs that I have just done

Ecu is decoded so no worries there
muchos gracias

hopefully have it finished soon so i can get out on the track and bother you there instead lol

There's 1 wire that's not obvious when you cut the loom down so be careful.
