finally!

Hi, my name is misterpink..........and i am a ducati user. the corse is running thru my veins and i can't stop. it started years ago with a 750ss( 1981?!), but got off it for quite a few years with some far-east import stuff. then i thought i would be OK with a cagiva elefant - huh how wrong - this then went to a `99 900SSie- probably the most underrated of them all - and has ended up via a 996S with a 748E. a flirtation with a black 600RR was meant to wean me off but some scumbag relieved me of it (fate??) I blame the DSC - comradeship, help, understanding.....AND i got the thing from a member. i would say i am a newbie, but i spent ages reading thru the board before buying and then after checking in to read what was happening - now i feel the commitment coming on - i feel i know the regulars - keefy, weeksy, nelly, kwikbitch and the "swappers" from R6,s to 748's- (seems to be a trend) like deej. So thats briefly my sad tale, no doubt i will be forced to spill the synthetic on the bike, the riding ability(or not) and colour preferences - but all in good time. My pasta is ready and it isn't raining so ciao4now.

Welcome MP.

Not only do you have the Italian stuff running through your veins, but it looks like it's running through your digestive system as well..... Hope you enjoyed your pasta..!

well mister yellow is too predictable........anyone like the film reservoir dogs???? not a big film fan, but did like that one and it seemed that a "mister pink" would have been an interesting addition - sort of a contradiction in terms . BUT a pink ducati.......i don't think so - i like mine in yellow - the great colour debate.. i reckon it goes something like this........yellow for 748 / red for 916/99* something to do with the way they raced them i guess.

Welcome to the board misterpink.
Thanks for the mention.I'm a bit of a Tarantino fan.Mind you,I think I would have chosen a differant board name like Vincent Vega or summat!
