Didn't know there was a haga rep on a 03. I thought they were earlier.

I had a 2000 RSVR, nice bike to look at but could not ride it to save my life, took my mates 748 out and had a whale of a time and then bought the 996

IMHO I would stick with the Duke.

Ditto.

Perhaps it was registered in 03, but it must be a 02 MY.
Anyway, it's a nice bike.

I went from an '01 RSV to an '04 749S.

The RSV is a tall bike, and a bit top heavy. As a result, I found it didn't like slow speeds and it was a bit twitchy in the wet. The motor is a peach though - very grunty.

I wouldn't make the trade as I don't think it's a fair swap, unless you're a big Haga fan. The only difference between the Haga rep and a normal RSV-R is the paintjob plus it came with Akra race pipes. You can pick up the 01-03 RSV-Rs (full Ohlins) for about the same price as your 748S is worth. You'd be paying the RS250 for the Haga connection, and I don't think they command such a premium. Nice bike, but well overpriced IMHO.

Keep the 748S and the RS250. Much more bike for the money.

keep the two bikes you have, best of both worlds man................when you have a spare couple of quid shoehorn an RG500 lump into the RS!

Look what I did with an unsuspecting NC30!

i'm not a big admirer of the RSV's to be honest, but if nothing else, that's not much of a deal for you!!
The duke and the RS have got to be worth much more than the RSV.

The Falco is *slightly* detuned, but not much at all. Cheap as chips to buy as well. Stick an Ohlins rear shock on and re-valve the forks. You've then got a hell of a lot of bike for not much money...

True, but have you seen the price ST4S's go for-much better bike than a Falco, and they come with Ohlins as standard.

Don't do it Delooney-the RS250 is a 'keeper' I reckon the strokers will be more sought after soon as they get rarer, and the 748 is a better bike than the RSV-it's a dam good deal-for the other guy!

Got a 916 and a mille (1999) and the mille is quick alright, but handles like poo with its cheap suspention. it does stop though and is comfy, but i am 5'10 and find it quite tall and cumbersome when putting it in and out of the garage.
I prefer the 916 in many ways but the mille is dependable it seems.
I wont be keeping my mille and it will be for sale after xmas, now if you fancy a deal just with the RS !!!!!!
