Spolier - Motegi

Capi did it. Kept Rossi at bay in fine weather at Motegi. Rossi pulled into second with about 7 laps left and tried to reel in Capi, but gave up the chase and dropped back for a very un-Rossi like safe second. Capi seemd to have his tires really dialed in with BS and he didn't seem to have any last minute loss of grip. Great race for Ducs. Watched it on commercial TV here, but the Japanese info boards had Capi riding a Honda all the way to the end, even though the commentary noted regularly he was on a Duck. On board camera helped as well. Guess it is to be expected as the main sponsers were Honda and Yamaha!
Fun to watch as I have raced bicycles on the Motegi circuit, so I have a pretty intimate (LOL) view of the track, though 295 kph at the end of the downhill straight is a little more thrilling than the 65 or so I was doing...

Man, a beautiful day here. Nice wind, about 25 deg. C, Autumn clouds, good race conditions. COurse it is almost midnight now, so things are a little different, but pretty pleasant still.
I am off to bed!

Well played Bradley Smith in the 125's. Started 24th and finished 8th. He must be the luckiest 15 year old in the world. What a great job to have. Better than a paper round!!!
